Riwo Sang Cho

May New Moon Day

" Riwo Sang Cho"  - ( the aromatic smoke offering)

This is a wonderful ritual to ring in the "Tibetan New Year" Everyone can participate by offering a plate of blessed substance and chanting the mantra.

we will all  offer a plate of aromatic "white " substance (butter, biscuit, milk, oats, barley flour,  incense etc)

The text is very meaningful- we offer it to the Buddhas , Yidams, protectors and all sentient beings especially those we owe karmic debts to .

The mantra is very short - just  the 3 seed syllables Om, Ah, Hung .

If attending in person, you are welcome to bring incense, butter, yoghurt, biscuit, honey or sugar for the offering. (Please bring your offerings by 9.30am so they can be included)

If attending on Zoom you are welcome to sponsor some offering substances.
